A day of fun for all
FAMILIES seeking free entertainment close to home are being encouraged to visit Apex Park next Thursday for the Camperdown and District Community House’s annual Family Fun Day.
The day, which usually runs during the Easter school holidays, will see a variety of outdoor games and craft activities as well as a barbecue fundraiser run by the Camperdown Lions Club.
Volunteer Merle Newling said the event, now in its seventh year, woukd be held on Thursday, April 16 from 10am-2pm.
“It is always a great day, we all have a wonderful time,” she said.
“This year the event is sponsored by Cobden and Camperdown Community Bank, so we are able to offer free facepainting and music and entertainment by Camperdown’s own Twa Bards.
“We encourage everyone to bring along picnic supplies to make the most of the day.
“A big thank you goes to all of the community volunteers who help prepare for the day and will be helping to run activities on the day.”
