Big journey for littlest students

THE youngest students across the region reached a major life milestone with their first days at school.

The class of 2024 prep students at St Colman’s Primary School, St Thomas Primary School, Noorat Primary School, Terang College, Hampden Specialist School and Mortlake College took their first strides in education last week.

Mortlake College welcomed 14 prep students to the cohort, Terang College welcomed 12 and St Thomas Primary School welcomed 17.

St Colman’s Primary School welcomed three new preps this year.

“They had a great first day,” principal Janet Cain said.

Noorat Primary School welcomed Monty and Lucas.

Hampden Specialist School welcomed Hargun Singh and Dallas King, who enjoyed an excellent week of learning.

“They are getting to know their teachers and making new friends with all of our amazing students,” leading teacher Paul Lyons said.
