Bond wins bisque bogey

MAUREEN Bond had an excellent day on the course last Thursday, winning the bisque bogey competition at the Terang Golf Club.

Maureen finished with an excellent score of +6 to win the event from Lynette on +5.

Balls down the line: Linda Kenna +2 on a countback from Aileen Clarke and Judy Carmody.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Judy Carmody, 11th Billy Wood and 18th from off the green, Heather Holmes.

The afternoon competition had eight players, with Brad Lucas the winner on 45 points followed by Chris Salisbury on 38.

Next week’s competition will be stableford.

The greens will be cored this Thursday and Friday so Thursday’s competition will be played on the front nine (holes 1-9 played twice).
