Boys show plenty of drive

COBDEN Tech’s senior boys’ netball side has shown great skill and determination at the GWR Interschool competition.

Having qualified for the Greater Western event after winning the HSSD interschool competition in Camperdown last month, the team faced some tough opposition in Colac last week.

All team members showed a high level of skill against some bigger bodies and strong players.

Congratulations to Noah B, Felix N, Adam J, Zac S, Bailey C, Xander W, Ewen R and Riley B for not only developing their skills through regular training sessions at school, but for representing the school at such a high level.

Last week’s results:

Cobden Tech lost to Ballarat High School 13-24, Cobden Tech lost to St Brigids College 24-44.

St Brigids was named the overall winner and will now go on to compete at the state finals.
