Christmas luncheon aims to unite
MEMBERS of the community are invited to gather and connect over a delicious Christmas lunch to celebrate the festive season.
The Terang Mortlake conference of St. Vincent de Paul will be holding its annual Christmas Luncheon on Tuesday, December 2 from 12noon in the Terang Civic Hall’s Rose Room.
Terang and Mortlake conference president Bernadette McKinnon said the luncheon was about making sure everyone in the community had the chance to connect with peers, particularly those aged who may not have family living locally.
“It is open to all people with an emphasis on the aged and those who have limited or no connection with families or organisations in the community,” she said.
“Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing many of you there.
“Transport can be arranged for those who need it.
“Hopefully it will fit into Santa Claus’ itinerary.
“It is a great community event to kick start the festive season.”
