Club Championship contested at Timboon

TIMBOON Golf Club members contested the second and third rounds of the Timboon Championship last weekend.


On Saturday the best scores were:

A grade (0-8) Alistair Gillin 75, Peter Cashmore 76, Phillip Brown 76, Wes Hollick 77 and Neil Gowland 78.

B grade (9-14) Chris Huffadine 84, Jack Rowe 86, Geoff Norton 87, Steven Crees 87 and Steve Plozza 90.

C grade (15-20) Gary Castledine 86, Tori Ziegelaar 86, Gavin Rundle 90, Barry Cook 91, Mark McKenzie 91, John Bertram 92 and Shaun McKenzie 93.

D grade (21-36) Gordon Broderick 92, Francis Togni 94, Mick Smith 104, Bryan Ward 104 and George Watters 106.

Nearest the pins: 5th Steven Crees, 7th Wes Hollick, 10th Peter Cashmore and 14th Alistair Gilin.

The best scores on Sunday:

Monthly medals on Sunday were won by Wes Hollick and John Bertram.

The Nutrien ball on the 11th was won by Phillip Brown.

D grade – Francis Togni (21) +72, Gordon Broderick (22) +78, George Watters (25) +93 and Percy Gillin (27) +131.

This weekend (Saturday) will be the final round of the men’s club championship.

On Thursday the 12 hole Railway View chicken day was won by Bill Finlayson with 24 points from Tori Ziegelaar on 22.
