Darlington-C’down Rd sees resurfacing
TRAVELLERS along the Darlington-Camperdown Road can expect some delays over the coming weeks as roadworks continue.

Works on a 750-metre section near Kilnoorat Road began towards the end of February and works are expected to be completed by June 2025.
Western District Newspapers reported November last year works began on a 1.8km section of the Darlington-Camperdown Road near Newminster Road, which were recently completed.
Department of Transport and Planning Barwon Southwest and Grampians executive director Michael Bailey reminded motorists to slow down and obey road signage as crews work on the road.
“We’re delivering stronger roads right across the southwest of Victoria thanks to our significant investment in road maintenance,” he said.
“Crews are onsite along Darlington-Camperdown Road delivering the crucial road works which will make the road safer and smoother for the drivers who rely on it each day.”
Western District Newspapers understands the works are part of the Victorian Government’s $964 million investment towards road maintenance, with 70 per cent of the investment going towards regional roads.
