Hard work rewarded
HARD work is starting to pay off for Corangamite Hockey Club players.
Warm conditions greeted players on Friday, March 21 when the under 18 side took to the pitch.
The side combined well, with close passes and good communication, and celebrated with a 4-3 victory, with Oliver, Charlotte, Ava and Jonah each scoring a goal.
Congratulations to the team on a great performance and to Oliver who took home the ‘You Rock’ award.
In a stunning display of team-work the under 15s secured a commanding 14-point victory on Saturday, March 22.
Under the guidance of new coach, Anthony, all players were able to focus and deliver on both offence and defence.
The coach’s strategies were evident throughout the game, with players adhering to their roles and maintaining discipline.
Macey took home the ‘You Rock’ award for a great performance.
In round three last Friday night, the under 18s lost 0-1 against Mariners.
The ‘You Rock’ award went to Brady. Thanks to Greg Pickett for helping coach.
The under 15s put in another great effort when faced with Portland on Saturday but were defeated 3-1.
