Hillman looks set to win monthly medal
GOLFER Jenny Hillman has shown good form on the greens to take out the putting competition at Camperdown.
Wednesday’s stroke competition at Camperdown was won by Jenny with 94 (22) 72 nett.
She also won the putting competition with a very tidy 29 putts and, unless her score is bettered in this Saturday’s competition, she will also secure the April women’s monthly medal.
Gabby Gill was runner-up this week with 98 (21) 77 but had the consolation of winning the nine-hole competition with 17 stableford points on the top course.
Nearest the pins: 2nd Deb Narik, 9th (second shot) Ros Brauer, 15th Doreen Horan.
Balls down the line went to Simon Gill, Liz Fry and Terri Sinnott.
Next week will be a par competition.
A reminder that the WDGA women’s pennant will start next Monday, April 7.
The division two team to play Terang at Warrnambool (9am for a 9.30am start) will be R. Brauer, D. Conheady, T. Baker (captain), J. Moulden, M. White and T. Sinnott (emerg).
Division four team playing Port Fairy at Warrnambool (9am for a 9.30am start) is G. Gill, D. Horan, J. Hillman, D. Narik and C. Farmer (captain).
