Inconsistent rain through April
EARLY rains throughout April boosted the monthly tally, but a dry second half of the month saw the region again experience rain below the long-term average.
The results are in: April was a tale of two halves, with consistent rain to begin the month before a lengthy dry spell saw clear skies overhead.
