King dominates on water
YOUNG sailor Jensen King has had a standout season on the water for the Derrinallum Yacht Club.

The year 9 Mercy Regional College student has claimed a string of sailing honours in the 2024-25 season.
Jensen took out the prestigious Perpetual Pennant Championship Trophy, a testament to his consistency and competitive edge throughout the year.
He then followed this up with another victory, securing first place in the Post-Christmas Perpetual Trophy.
But it wasn’t just about the silverware.
In a display of determination, resilience, and good humour, Jensen also collected the Most Capsizes of the Season with a remarkable tally of 87.
Far from a setback, the award highlighted his perseverance and willingness to keep climbing back into the boat, no matter the challenge.
Fellow sailors praised Jensen’s achievements, describing him as a dedicated competitor with a bright future ahead in the sport.
With trophies, titles, and plenty of laughs along the way, this season has firmly established Jensen as a sailor to watch.
