Knitters help make a difference
EAGER Camperdown and district knitters have again helped make a difference.

EAGER Camperdown and district knitters have again helped make a difference.
The popular Camperdown Community House Knitting for a Cause program, which launched in 2021, followed a Knitting for Wildlife program.
Camperdown Community House co-ordinator Emily Mercer said community knitters had been working hard to produce some “wonderful hand-made blankets” for local and regional charities and causes.
“Today (Tuesday) we have donated six blankets and 20 hand-made children’s toys to Colac Area Health Family Services who will distribute these to members of the Corangamite and Colac Otway community,” she said.
“We have also boxed up another six blankets and 20 hand-knitted children’s toys that are being sent to the CWA Ballina branch who will distribute these to members of their community who have been impacted by the recent flood emergencies.”
Camperdown Community House Knitting for a Cause program is anongoing program.
