Man dies on Foxhow farm
WORKSAFE are investigating the circumstances behind a fatal workplace incident on a farm in Foxhow last Wednesday.
Police were called to a property on Foxhow-Cundare Road at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, November 19.
Corangamite Senior Sergeant Bill Caldow said a 69-year-old man was killed after being crushed between a tractor and a trailer.
“At the time, they were attaching the trailer to the tractor,” he said.
“CPR was attempted by people on the scene and Ambulance Victoria attended, but the man could not be revived.
“A number of police units attended, and WorkSafe were notified, attended the scene and will be undertaking an investigation.
“It is an extremely unfortunate matter, and our sympathies go to all involved.”
