This has once again relegated Cobden to fourth position, replaced at third by Simpson who also lost.

Ann Scott, Claire Reynolds, Colin Spokes and Janine Hutt lost 15-21 to R. Jackson, P. Thompson, D. Harty and T. Uwland.

Janelle Rohan, Richard McVilly, Jim O’Shea and Bert Strampel had a bad loss 14-29 to M. Coates, G. Burrell, D. Donovan and M. Charity.

Janelle Rohan, Richard McVilly, Jim O’Shea and Bert Strampel won 31-13 not 23-13.
