Noonan wins at Timboon

TALENTED golfer Cody Noonan finished on 37 points to win the A grade stableford round at Timboon last Saturday.

Noonan finished ahead of runner-up Tori Ziegelaar on 33 points, closely followed by Alistair Gillin on 30.

B grade was won by Rhys Ziegelaar with 37 points, followed by Brodie Neal on 32 and Percy Gillin on 30.

Nearest the pins: 5th Ivan Barlow, 7th Chris Harkness, 10th Steve Plozza and 14th Alistair Gillin.

Cody Noonan won a ball for his second shot to the 11th.

Thursday’s 12-hole Railway View chicken day was won by Bryan Ward with 24 on countback from Mark Tribe.

Nearest the pin was Mick Plozza.

This Saturday, August 30, will be stroke and monthly medals – a 10.30am shotgun start.
