Pigeons leave Mildura

CAMPERDOWN Pigeon Club raced from Mildura last Sunday, covering a distance of 500 kilometres.

Graeme McKenzie and Rex Perkins from the Camperdown Club were successful in gaining first and second respectively in the Open Combine competition against flyers from Colac, Warrnambool and Portland.

1st: G. & S. McKenzie 6 hrs, 16 mins, 37 secs ( Velocity 1208.43 m/mins).

2nd: Rex Perkins 6 great, 27 mins, 21 secs ( Velocity 1196.89 m/mins).

This weekend all clubs will be racing from both Broken Hill and Mildura.
