Slade named Club Champion
SLADE Palmer has been named A grade Club Champion at Mortlake Golf Club.
Slade finished on 78-71-69-74 to take his total to 218.
The B grade champion was Will Berryman with 367 points (91-97-91-88).
The overall nett winner was Kurt Robertson with 283.
Twenty-one players contested last Saturday’s stroke, third round of the club championships in cool and overcast conditions.
A grade was won by Kurt Robertson 10-80-70 on countback, with Slade Palmer runner-up on +1-69-70.
Nearest the pins: 3/12 Hamish Weatherly, 6/15 Slade Palmer and 9/18 Richard Van Diemen.
Balls down the line went to Les Dawson, Darren Anders, Will Berryman, Rob Field and Wes Wareham.
The fourth round of club championships saw 12 players on the course.
Richard Van Diemen won A grade on 17-82-65 followed by Will Berryman 19-88-69.
Nearest the pins: 3/12 Ryan Tanner, 6/15 Peter Palmer and 9/18 Gary Glossop.
Balls down the line went to Kurt Robertson, Jordan Wareham and Todd Robertson.
