Term ends purple
STUDENTS at Camperdown College’s junior campus ended their term with a touch of purple last week for a worthy cause.

The annual Purple Up day fundraiser held last Thursday (April 2) raised awareness and funds to support people living with epilepsy.
Purple Day is a global initiative which helps to support people with epilepsy, a neurological disorder which can cause seizures.
Junior School Council (JSC) coordinators Harriet Place and Grace Coker said this year’s Purple Up day raised $631.50.
“There was a fantastic buzz around the campus as our JSC members sold loom bands, badges, lolly bags and delicious cookies, all for a cause very close to our hearts,” they said.
“A big thank you to everyone who participated and supported this important day.
“Together, we’re helping make a difference.”
