Vehicle hits fence
EMERGENCY services were called to a single-vehicle accident near Derrinallum last Friday.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria units attended the scene on Bristows Road, Derrinallum at around 8.30am on Friday, March 28.
Camperdown Police Senior Constable Steve Kay said a male in his 70s suffered minor injuries when his vehicle collided with a fence following a medical episode.
“Unfortunately, it was one of those things that was unavoidable regardless of how careful people were,” he said.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the driver was transported by road to Warrnambool Base Hospital in a stable condition after being treated for upper body injuries.
