Win for junior Tigers

WOORNDOO Mortlake’s 13 and under netballers are through to the semi-finals after a thrilling one goal win in Saturday’s elimination final at Penshurst.

Wickliffe/Lake Bolac led the Tigers at every change until a stunning last quarter saw the Tigers score eight goals to claim an exciting 17-16 win.

Paige Maddock and Rekiah Martin were best for Woorndoo/Mortlake, with Maddock scoring a match high 15 goals.

This Sunday the Tigers will play Great Western in the first semi-final at Lismore.
